Mount Juliet Golf and Country Club

Waterford Golf Club is run and maintained to a very high standard and particularly renowned for the quality of the greens. It is a busy member's course and tee times for visitors are quite restricted at weekends, so you are advised to play midweek where possible.

Faithlegg Golf Club

At a championship yardage of 6,674, Faithlegg Golf Course was designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Paddy Merrigan. Boasting a superb setting on the banks of the River Suir, the course has cleverly moulded into a wonderful landscape of mature trees, flowing parkland and some five lakes. The superb parkland layout, with tricky doglegs, blind tee shots and strategically positioned sand traps, represents a stiff challenge for even the most accomplished golfers.

Tramore Golf Club

As with Lahinch, Bundoran and Enniscrone, Tramore Golf Club is a famous course developed by a popular seaside resort. Though near the sea it offers a parkland layout and its 18 championship holes represent a stern test of golf. Tee times are restricted at weekends, so midweek play is advised.

Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Club

A short ferry trip across the River Suir transports you to Waterford Castle Hotel and Golf Club, this lovely island course which offers a superb test of golf over the mature wooded parklands adjoining Waterford Castle. The course was designed by Des Smyth and has water features on the second, third, fourth and sixteenth holes. The unique island golf course surrounded by the River Suir is sure to be an experience not soon forgotten by the visitor.

Dunmore East Golf Club

The best attribute of this course has to be the quite breathtaking views of the village and bay, the Hook Peninsula and Waterford Harbour.
